Fly fishing sounds like it could be hit or miss...depending on the people. lol
Yeah you definitely need to plan the outings around the group of people the outing is for. The outdoor activities works for all of those on our team since we all enjoy doing those types of activities.
Fly fishing with guides though can be for everyone though. All you do is cast and catch and the guides will do everything else.
Line gets caught? The guide will get it.
Hook comes off? The guide will put a new one on.
When you have a guide you only do the fun stuff haha.

Having someone that knows exactly what to do and when/where to do it definitely helps...paying them to do it usually helps even more!

Hadn't thought of indoor skydiving! Haven't done tastings with the team but have organized with college pals and noticed people were antsy for doing their thing without the expert. How did it go with your team? Better than just getting some bottles at a winery?
That's definitely different with the expert, cause he's here to really drive the wine tasting, helping the team to understand and learn some good stuff about the wine, and at the end you can still have some time to finish the bottles just with your team
We did indoor as well and it was a huge hit! Even had one guy sign up as a member :)
Lazer tag was pretty fun for everyone from our 20 year old SDR's to middle aged Senior AE's and management. Drinks afterwards too.
Drinks BEFORE would be better!
Nobody will ever let me do laser tag but it's SUCH a good idea.

We played laser tag once, that was pretty good
I had a blast doing Escape the Room followed by drinks. We were a fully remote regional team so it was great getting to know people's strengths and what they thought they were good at.
Team Golf Outings are always THE best.

Good one!! Was the place you went a bar/did they serve drinks? Someone explained it to me like SPIN (a table tennis bar) but with axes and I thought - that sounds precarious!

yes! this was SO much fun and not nearly as dangerous as it sounds. plus they cap you after 3 drinks, so i was done early.
So far only an extra 100 for meeting scheduled but always happy when spiffs happen
Casino, indoor hi-speed go cart racing, escape rooms (feels overdone now) and bowling was fun. Also baseball games in a suite has to be one of the best.

Paintball...which was all fun and games until we played "gauntlet" with our CEO as the pray. As customary, once we lit him up he was then the only one with a gun and we had to physically tag him to get out of the arena. I got shot right in the chest at point-blank and I didn't speak to him for a few days.
But hey. You got to take out your CEO!

We had a duckpin bowling event coupled with an axe throwing outing... Have also done an escape room in the past.
