What's the worst mistake you have made when writing in an email?

Made a little bit of an ooppsie and sent an email subject line with INSERT NAME and INSERT DATE in the subject line.

Everyone's blasted a big email list with (name) or some other field that didnt populate on a cadence. Its a sales right of passage.

I think when I was an SDR I also blasted emails to a big opportunity some AE was working and the guy chewed me out.

I reply-all’ed to a company email calling someone a dumbass with a gif. Meant to forward to a colleague. HR and I had a coffee later that day and agreed I’d not do it again.

I used to sell to "Public Safety" groups. Can't count the amount of times I wrote "pubic safety".

I’m pretty notorious for writing up an email to completion then never sending, while thinking I did. So I follow up later like “hey any update “ and they’re like “I never got anything” while it sits in my drafts just needing to hit the send button.

One that I made when I was working in sports ticketing was spelling the word Arena, but flip flop where N and second A are each, and that's what I wrote in an email to a prospect. Luckily they shrugged it off but it was awkward realizing that mistake after the email was sent.

Manager sent me an email that a deal had to be closed with a certain prospect Asap, that I forwarded to that prospect by mistake, lol... while working on a total different follow up email with him that definitely let the deal die as he went totally ghosty afterwards:)
