What skillsets/ details should be provided in the resume to get a sales job at a SaaS company?

I have had over 8 years of sales experience out of which 7 years was in IT infra or datacenter technologies and 1 year in Martech solutions.

I am currently looking out for SaaS sales roles in the IT industry (as marketing in India needs to mature) as it is a mature industry but also I think I like selling IT solutions better.

While I am looking for SaaS companies, I am open to working for companies in the database space like MongoDb as well.

I would totally appreciate any kind of help here.

You have a good resume but it needs to be pared down.

Remove points that would be included in a job description, keep your metrics.

Quota attainment is king, but activity metrics, outbound pipeline sourcing, etc. are all huge pluses.

Resume needs to be one page. There are some really good contemporary resume templates you can Google and find.

For any and ALL sales posting numbers is great.
Size of territory, number of customers, revenue, % to plan, total sales, awards!

I did look for some good templates. The issue being most of my applications are through job portals, I need a detailed resume to be ATS complied.
Plus 8 years or experience in page really did not justify so kept it 2 pages max

Metrics, specifically quota attainment, Revenue sold, percentages to quota. If you ever made presidents club or any awards from sales achievements.

Main points to be included same as any other resume.
But mainly you need to focus on the skills and experience particularly the achievements you made with your current or ex employers.
And finally a little bit further on how you're gonna make a difference if you were selected for the role and if you have any other special skill or knowledge they need to resolve a challenge the industry faces in general or the company has in particular.
