Had a similar problem a few years ago, SDRs were not dialing and not setting many meetings. So, I made my own spiff. I told my SDRs that for one month, I would be dialing down their lists along with them. Whoever set the most net new meetings over the phone, I would take out to a lunch/dinner of their choice ($500 cap per person).ย

I smoked em, still took them both out to lunch, and ever since then they crushed it and have both since been promoted.ย

Lead by example while following up with a crucial conversation. You need to figure out what the root of the problem is and attack that.ย

I agree with Chucken. Give them all the tools and resources needed to succeed and if they still aren't producing what you need them to, don't be afraid to move on. There will always be someone who is going to be willing to grind it out.ย

Make your own pipeline. That's the only way you can be 100% sure you have accurate information and a good forecast.ย

I have been at my current tech/healthcare sales job for 1.5 years and not a single lead from anyone else has resulted in a closed win. I just go get them myself. I have mentored some inside reps but for the most part I am bringing in business I have drummed up.ย

@StoweSalesmaster - Who does have the authority? What is your relationship with that person? How are the BDRs comped? Do you have any influence on their career progression? I think more context would make this discussion more beneficial to you.ย

Do you still wear a full suit to your 1st meeting with a prospect, or is that completely dust now and feel like a used car salesman?
