If your selling SaaS youโ€™re really selling to the department you want and legal and IT.ย

At least you can find them on linkedin, unlike security ppl who hide behind X3โ€™hityoe*~โ‚ฌ]_โ‚ฌ?] usernames

Security people only talk to when there is a project and budget, which I can appreciate.

Marketing folks will talk to you at any time b/c they need something to do with their day.

Accounting can be super tough. They are risk adverse and donโ€™t like change.

Legal 100%, by the time their legal and our legal fight it out all value is lost.

shocked #1 is security. Having sold into this space for 2+ years, there are some massive budgets available and it is easy to drive urgency since breaches are always in the news.ย

Security/IT - never sold into them but I know the culture is vehemently anti-sales.

Marketing can't even gate content for these people because they'll just leave the page if they have to enter an email.
