We're all selling human to human :)

I've never sold B2C. I don't why exactly just the path I got onto and I like it. I always imagine that selling to consumers is more challenging

I like the deal sizes and the strategy in B2B, plus in my experience, since consumers donโ€™t represent a business, they tend to be a-holes more often

More money. Unless you're a high end realtor or selling luxury vehicles no consumer is going to spend $1M on a purchase.

Itโ€™s about the maxcash, cashmax. Honestly, B2SMB really isnโ€™t any different from B2C. For perspective, it can be a blast when youโ€™ve got a shot at selling something in every conversation.

I find B2B to be more strategic, consultative where there are multiple steps involved into selling plus you get more money I guess.
I used to dial and sell phones while in college and it was challenging and not much money.

Good one, so it's money then.
Perhaps that would be my main cause too if I ever decide to switch :)

I grew up in B2C, briefly did B2B which I loved and if it wasnโ€™t for COVID Iโ€™d still be in that role and now currently manage a B2C sales team. B2C is great if you love fast past sales cycles and meeting new people everyday. It also sucks because dealing with the general public can be torturous. B2B is great if you love consultative, complex sales cycles and more money! B2B is a bit more serious though since youโ€™re selling to decision makers. Also, sales cycles are long so itโ€™s easy to get discouraged with low customer interaction and less frequent โ€œactionโ€.

I prefer B2B because I feel that companies have more money & I'm able to close much larger projects. I also like that we "generally" sell to them between 9-5. I assume on the flip side, people like B2C because you can sell quicker and probably have a shorter sales cycle, but you have to sell to them in their personal time of "after 5pm".
