With sales cadence, how many touch points are you making with the prospect to establish some sort of a connection!?๐Ÿ‘ฅ

are you personally creating your own outline on how you're getting those touch points or does it differ based on the prospect that you're reaching out to?ย

@Marnel14: Seriously, get away from the touchpoint mentality. When I did lead gen (the times when cadence tools didn't even exist), we used to look at prospects more as humans, and less as touchpoint-humans.

It can take anything between 1 to 100 touchpoints. Depends on so many variables - the prospect / the time of your reach out / the messaging / the presentation / the mode of reach out / the storyline of your messaging.

Not saying you should stop using cadences altogether. But the mentality of 12-touches-to-1-connection is just a story you are telling yourself, nothing more.

Depends whether itโ€™s warm or cold leads as TennisandSales mentioned. Mine varies - I have 14 steps cadence for my cold leads,7-8 steps for warm. It further depends whether the prospect is SMB, MM or Ent.

You've built rapport, took them through your value proposition, scheduled follow-ups, everything feels great. Now it's decision time and.... GHOSTED... How do you recapture their attention and when is it time to hit them with a break-up email?

For all you mail mergers out there, do you see more success emailing one DM or all DMs on a custom thread? I've noticed that putting all relevant DMs on one campaign that is 100% customized to their business has a much higher response rate (28% meeting sucess)
