Would you rather

A little Thursday "Would you rather..."

Would you rather work for a company that

a.) Stuck to the same proven sales processes that consistently do actually work?

b.) Tries it's best to listen, adapt, innovate and change their processes over time to stay competitive?

Which one of these would be easier to sell for?

I feel like 'would you rather work for...' and 'what would be easier...' are very different questions.

I'd rather work for b, but a might be easier.

Wherever I can make most money...

I've never worked for a company that doesn't allow people to iterate on the sales process, but maybe I'm lucky

I'm all for change, BUT... not too many changes too often. Too many times I've been asked to make changes because something isn't working and it really boils down to not gaining enough momentum. Often management expects changes to have an immediate impact and if it doesn't, changes it again. Be deliberate and trust you got it right. Then I'm all for evolving with the world around me.

B - but with a solid foundation of A. Change for change's sake is not good, but being able to adapt to changing marketplace and/or solution value is key.
