2nd Remote Opportunities ?

I've historically done well and crushed quota in my remote SaaS AE role, but this year has been very slow (like everyone). Our product is a clear nice to have in this economy which spurs minimal commission checks for me currently.

On the positive, I'm cashing in my base and have loads of free time due to fewer deals to work.

Any recs on second jobs (probably remote) to pickup with this free time I have? Feel like I could crush any CS or Sales role but not sure where to look.

Appreciate you all

Offer fractional sales help to very early stage startups. Help craft ICP, messaging, call scripts, outbound cadences etc.

You might want to look into volunteer work or getting more education. Both can reap unseen benefits.

@MidwestSeller: Welcome to the war room. Early this year, we'd predicted that 2023 will be the year of the Sales Freelancers. And we're slowly seeing it happening.

I'm tagging my colleague here @bravadoben, whocan assist you in joining Bravado Flex, a program tailored for high-performing salespeople like you. Good luck!

What about studying something? Can you sell anything on eBay? Or develop a second skill that you can use to make money? Volunteering?
A new hobby maybe? For example golf and tennis just gets you connections. Toastmasters?

It is what Scott Adams has written about skill stacking. You might not be world best at one thing. You might however have best combined knowledge on 4-5 things that no one else can do.

Just be wary that your current job might pick up with more deals and things to do so I would consider something you can easily scale down and up in time

I would not take on a formal 2nd full or part-time job, it is unethical to be employed by two companies at the same time in similar businesses. It probably is also against your current company's policy and be cause for termination.

1. Is there a way to find more business in your current role? Take on more accounts?
2. Update your resume and look for a new company.
3. Consider Flex, I would be separate this and do it after normal working hours.

Better to focus on a side hustle rather then a second sales job right now
