3/21 Title new role

Hello WR,

It's a great day to make it a great day(or whatever bs jargon your sales manager is spewing this morning).

Officially signed my offer letter for my next company where there is (hopefully) stability. Definitely better pay and attainable targets as the team I am joining had an average attainment of 105 last year with the lowest attainment being 96% across a team of 8.

My theory that salespeople will always be needed seems to be true even when markets are tougher.

May you all go out and close the deals that bring you to your number or above your number this Q.

Yeah, there's just too much nuance and logic involved in the role. Will there are plenty of bad, redundant sales reps out there, the good ones are invaluable to a business.

I think the fact that there's so much nuance and so many *illogical* situations in sales is why AI can never truly replace the human touch.

Hoping this one works out better than the last new job and sounds like it will due to each of your team pretty much hitting goal at minimum.

If I were you, I'd just leave the last gig off. You got a raw deal on that and glad to hear about this second rebound in short order.

I've scrubbed brief engagements from my resume as well. Much easier to explain away a brief gap in resume or just stretch your end date from your previous employer to your new start date.
