Bad comp plan of all comp plans

Shocker, my new comp plan makes a shit storm look like a pleasant evening

i've never experienced anything this bad, but it's incredibly de-motivating. the number is unattainable - as in, my personal new biz number is more than the entire team sold last year - so they are seemingly banking on us hitting 33% to hit their rev target.

there's a lot more than goes in to why we are unhappy with it, but it's a huge slap in the face

I know the market is pretty bad right now, so the company has a lot more leverage since it's a lot tougher to jump ship right now

I haven't signed anything yet, so now seeking any kind of advice for a rep in just a shitty situation where the whole sales team (VP included) is going to make dogshit money this year because of our board
