Best “sales intelligence tool” for contact info that you would pay for out of pocket?

these tools are all a bit frustrating for me. I often find the hardest contact info to get isn't on any of the sites my company pays for (Zoominfo and Rocketreach).

Thinking about spending to get my own third source.

is it even worth it?

I highly doubt it is worth it. Also i would NEVER buy anything for work with my own money.

I wouldn't pay for anything else. I've also yet to find one that's accurate, either. It's a combination of using a few and trial and error.

Exactly. Pick up the phone. Go through the company directory. Stop in and schmooze reception. There are other ways.

There are pros and cons in every tool. I wouldn’t spend on any extra.

If they arent on those two, they are probably unlikely to be on another. Call the directory and you can most likely guess their email from looking at other contact's email addresses at the same company

Don't think I'd pay out of pocket for anything like that.

Out of Pocket?? Bruh we dropped 15k USD for an entry level license for zoominfo earlier this year like the cheapest they offer why would you even consider that.

Just buy individual batches form a data broker if you need one off targeted lists.

Have you used that website? Not trying to be a hater but the site looks a bit basic and outdated

I have used CRM Journal from the Apple App Store. It's not necessarily "sales intelligence" but it depends on how you want to use it. At the time none of my employers had any CRM to speak of and I needed something to keep track of my visits and notes other than hauling around folders and paper. It integrates well with iOS and the other free apps on the iPhone (Notes, Tasks, Calendar, etc.) Also has a Map function.

I used to love ZoomInfo until the past few years it takes a person to be in a role for 6 months for them to update their contacts!

True, I’ve had really bad luck with them in the last year. Half of the emails bounce.

I have paid out of my own pocket before but would never do it again.

The company I am with now pays for a licence that helps to identify email addresses but what I really need are phone numbers. Most people don’t work in the office anymore and so I find I am just leaving voicemails - so draining.

How do you find direct numbers to people?
