Bringing it back to the basics

Fellow savages, I’m looking for your input. 😎 I’ve had to take a hard look at what is within my control to execute and win next quarter. Thought it would be best to bring it back to the basics, put my BDR hat on even though we have 6 full time SDR’s.

Something needs to change. I’m looking for your best game plan on how to reset and focus on getting back to winning. I’m open to any and all input.

Always be Prospecting - no matter how many SDRs you have

Always prospect and always built rapport - you never know where that next deal is coming from. Minimum 10x your quota in the pipeline until your metrics start to stablize. Track your ratios so you can find out where to put in the effort to increase said ratios.

Research your market and potential markets to get ahead of buying trends. Watch what your competitors are doing to learn what works and what doesn't at their expense, then try to beat them to the next client.

Give your SDR's the target lists, don't rely on some noob to figure out who is a good target client for you.

Yasss👏🏼 This is exactly what I was looking for. I’ve steered away from these recently and found myself compromising on the basics to hit quick wins. Thanks for the encouragement and reassurance that these strategies are still the most tactful to get after it.

Unfortunately, you can't rely on others to build the pipeline for you, if you want something done right you have to do it yourself... Put SDR blocks on your calendar to make time to prospect and respect the time on your calendar

As an AE I rely on myself for new business. I prospect daily.

It also may be helpful to set one on one's with each SDR you work with to form a game plan.
