CISO Rips Lacework rep... do you agree with the CISO?

The CISO posted a controversial post on Linkedin ripping the Lacework rep. I personally do not believe it was right. SDR/BDR and sales people in general have the hardest job in the company and its their job to reach out to everyone relevant. Obviously, there is room for improvement by the sales team. Do you think the CISO should publicly shame the company and the rep?

I swear IT people are the most arrogant, narcissistic divas out there. You're not an engineer, you don't create anything, you just run someone else's software and plug the cables in the only fucking slot it can possibly fit.

The thing about these posts is if they are like 90% + of companies, they have a sales team going outbound. And that team brings in customers to pay his bloated salary lol.

This is a massive overreaction to mediocre sales outreach and totally overblown. But presuming they are not living entirely off of inbound, it's also complete hypocrisy.
