Cold calling on a Friday?

We do 45 minute call sprints, with 15 minute breaks all day on Fridays. It is by far the day that we book the most meetings.
I love this practice. Weโre all gonna take the pain together. Weโre all going to celebrate the glory together also. Rising tide lifts all boats thing. For this reason, and only this reason, I miss office work.

In my ample experience, Fridays are the best days to catch people in the office and actually willing to speak with you. Unless they are feverishly working toward a deadline, they are watching the clock so they are looking for a way to kill some time.
Just today I was able to get on the calendar with a VP I have been hunting down for a couple weeks.
I know its tough and you think everyone is gone, but in my experience I have been able to land some of the best cold calls on Fridays.

Well, occasionally I'm out to go skiiing or MTB (depending on the season). But yah, its an easy excuse.
I just sent out 15 emails for a webinar we're doing in a week. I had 2 OOO replies from the execs I sent them to. That means at least 10 of them are in - and this is for end of summer!. Its all a numbers game.

People are always in better moods on Fridays
Call in the morning and right after lunch. Thatโs the best way to get them, and beginning and end of the week.
We've been told for so long not to do it that it's almost come full circle - you're often able to actually connect on Fridays.

Fuck yea - people are in great moods on Friday, some are looking to kill time, chatting with a rep fills that void.
Friday afternoon is an excellent time to cold call. People are relaxed and they not many other people are doing it
Definitely a winner for me. People more likely at their phones I have found, meetings usually at start of week so more free time, in good mood heading to weekend, more open to a chat
I see more people answering the call on Friday. May be they are excited about weekend :)
Yes everyday is ok unless itโs weekend or holiday
There is no bad day for a cold call. Always be prospecting.
Friday mid-morning or early, early afternoon. Not when people are trying to dip out for a tee time
Yes - anything before 5Pm and after 1Pm brings success to me. I usually reduce the number of calls as I approach 5Pm because I'd want to cut some slack to other folks too - it's their weekend as well.

For sure it's a must! For me the best pick up rates are on Tuesdays and Fridays, specially in the afternoon
