Was casually looking at some LI jobs last night and came across this. $800k/yr . $400/hr, paid weekly, don't technical demos, etc... but you're an independent contractor. Seems like a wet dream come true. Which is why its a giant 🚩🚩to me.

The company has >6m followers on LI. And with job ads like this, I can see why.

Anyone know these guys? Legit?

Crossover acquired the SaaS company that I used to work for. The CEO got sick and had to sell the company at a discount. Crossover's policy was they wanted to install spyware on your computer that took a screenshot and photo of you through the webcam every like 5 minutes or something like that. If you weren't in front of the webcam when it took the photo you'd be docked 5 minutes worth of your pay.

They had very attractive salaries for former employees (I know most of our engineering group joined).. but everyone said they were a nightmare.

The CEO did an all hands call at one point and it was the easiest nope I've ever made.

So... treat with caution.
