Day #31 of two sales jobs - I paid $7600 to get coached with Marcus Chan

The best investment is in yourself - I'm glad to take the first step into investing into myself. As someone who never completed a 4 year degree or had much of any upbringing I'm glad to be investing in myself and my skills for the future.

I'm confident that I will learn alot, close more deals, build confidence, and get more cash $$$

Also now that I earn $7100 a month in base it's way more doable. I'm paying like $300 something a month on payments.

I've just been feeling burnt out on sales even before the second job and figured this was a good route to take to stay on top of the game and bulletproof myself for this recession. I've got nothing but great things to say about Marcus and so far the program has been stellar.

In the future as I earn more I would love to continue investing more into myself.

On another note I got the final numbers from J2 (SDR) and I started 47 conversations for my AE - 11 meetings were completed

-29 were scheduled for later!

My poor AE - what a great problem to have! (which leads me to nearly of doubled my quota if all are Qualified --17 SAL/month quota)

-Made my director look great by doing this and he is debriefing the board on all the success.

At J1 my morale is at an all time low with how the sales team is being treated and how our product is failing but I gotta tough it out, I need to be there at least another 6 months before transitioning to another AE role

Yeah that's another benefit, the whole WR get's to be enlightened lol. I'd been sitting on the decision for 6 months too

I remember your post months ago (well before the 2 jobs) on if you should hire Marcus - seems like you were patient and vetted him. Excited to hear how it goes. Keep sending the updates (as long as it doesn’t burn you out).

Just curious, when are you making time for sessions with him? And is it 1 hour a week or what?

I’m considering a coach too.

Im honestly really surprised by how much time he dedicated to me but the. Again it is 7600 so thats 7600/12/5 = 126$ a day. For one on one coaching.

Ive learned a ton already and im excited to start seeing results.

I just devote time in the morning like 7-9 half towards the lessons and half towards application. Apply it at work that day. Then come back with feedback and improve the next.

I want to devote more time though but its hard because I want time after work to hangout with my partner

At the end of the day talk shit all you want about price but if you dont invest in yourself who will you know

And to be the best you gotta surround yourself by the best and im learning a ton

So he hosts like a 1-2 hour weekly live call with students who have questions and gives anywhere from 5-15 minutes per question and goes until all questions are completed.

He also has a online academy of modules to go through that are prerecorded and has informational templates and exercises attached to apply them immediately.

He also has a slack channel with one one one slack communication so anytime you have a question you post it in your one on one channel with him. He responds within 24 hours with a video recording breakdown of praise, tips, tricks, and methods for improvement. Direct to the point and super actionable.

So I post in their call recordings, templates, scripts, new call recordings. In the last three days he has probably spent an hour and a half on just video recordings coaching me and then I listened in on the group call and brought my own questions too at the end while working through some crm management

And then his modules is probably like 120 hours of in depth top tier lessons. The program is 12 weeks. I think slack access gets cutoff after that Im not sure, but the video and template access is for life
