day 5 ( change of plans )

took sometime to think about where i was going wrong

turns out... almost everything

so heres a new plan

  • networking in my area
  • land an internship either from college or paid one from a well known firm
  • gain experience and really see what i enjoy doing

these would be my goals for now

i applied for some internships in my area ( was tougher than getting into dark web )

reached out to my college , idiots told me to contact a certain sir who doesnt reply

( im gonna spam him with calls )

i think its better i move like this i hope im doin fine

learning some excel from youtube ( i think it will be useful )

thats all

leave some networking tips ( also how to learn a new language )

Solid chance there's a good portion of this community already scrolling on by your daily blog. Keep it valuable, please.

You know Syed, Iโ€™ve read some of your previous posts and comments and you say you think Sales is your passion because โ€œyouโ€™re good at convincingโ€ and โ€œyouโ€™re a smooth talkerโ€

Hate to break it to you but those are the two things Sales people are definitely not.

Salespeople are just excellent listeners, they only provide a solution when thereโ€™s a problem

Just based on your few posts and comments, your rhetoric towards how others act (albeit in a fairly professional manner) makes me think that even when you DO get a job interview, your personality will be off putting

I would say work on yourself a bit

Good luck with the role though

This changed my perception of the role , ig sales people do listen and could be maybe seen as problem solvers ?
Thanks for the feedback, definitely working on improving myself ,
Thank you .

Stop calling people idiots for trying to help. Also, donโ€™t spam peopleโ€”be effective by finding the best path to gaining connection.

Nah listen , the college reception promised me stuff like internships and stuff but they backed off once I joined , I feel scammed so I said .And thier response is only for collecting fee .

Calling someone an idiot for not delivering on โ€œpromisesโ€ tells me they are either wrong or you are projecting your feelings towards them.

Iโ€™ve never once in my life heard of a college that promises you an internship.

Alright man. Good luck in sales. Buyers are lairs and sellers love to believe a lie.
