Do you put prospects in a sequence post-demo?

One of my colleagues is asking for advice on how to create a sequence after somebody has gone through a demo.


My line of reasoning is that since there should always be actionable next steps at the end of a demo call, there's no reason to put them into a sequence.


Do any of you guys enroll prospects into a sequence post demo? If so, how often are the steps?


Curious how everybody else handles this

no i do not use an automated sequence.

if you have to put them in a sequence then im willing to bet you were not able to identify any REAL need or problem and have them identify it.

No automated sequence. A demo is not the end point of a cycle, so there should be next steps in your existing process to cover what's next.

Negative. I think follow up should be tailored to the prospect and their needs, as well as their timelines

It shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all situation.

I have no post-demo sequence, I get a clear future and next steps and follow up that way. personal touch is the best way.

I don't once we have made it to demo. But I also don't cast too wide of a net for how many people I'm targeting at once. Customization and personalization is everything.

I usually use a post demo sequence to explain the ROI and RONI of such a transformation and I think it's pretty much working.

I keep nurturing leads until they book a second demo for closing.

For all you mail mergers out there, do you see more success emailing one DM or all DMs on a custom thread? I've noticed that putting all relevant DMs on one campaign that is 100% customized to their business has a much higher response rate (28% meeting sucess)
