Does the SaaS sales method works for Tech Consulting Sales?

I've been trying to organize the sales process for my tech consulting firm. And I need advice on the sales methodology.


We basically develop products/services for large corporations (mainly banks, hospitals, and government). We develop products and services that solve business problems so that means working in the fields of digital transformation, innovation, UX/Service Design and software development.


I need advice, on how to structure the process, the team (roles), and responsibilities.


Any article, book or guidance, will be really appreciated.

I guess i would like to know what you consider the “Saas sales method” is?

Like having SDRs who set meets for AEs who close it?

Idk all the details but when you start talking about developing products, and driving digital transformation, it doesn’t sound like something an SDR could cold call about.

Why would you think a SDR couldnt cold call? Do you think the product is too complicated to generate demand off of a 1 minute call?

yeah pretty much. i mean i really dont know anything about the product ahah so i could be totally wrong/ but when you are building a product or making a big transition, that is something that comes from the top. not from a conversation with an SDR that has no authority in the industry.

if they have already decided to do this and are looking for a vendor then the SDR can be successful, but i doubt that would happen from the sounds of it
