Double dipping

Posting first and searching second, looking for recommendations on double dipping, or creating a second revenue stream.

I'm a successful (enough) enterprise account Exec. Overachieving against goal etc, lots of money to be made in the main role HOWEVER the amount I pay in child support keeps getting jacked up accordingly, now up to $4500 a month in child support and alimony.

Therefore, planning to take on a second role without disclosing it to my current company, no LinkedIn change etc.

Thinking I can handle another smb or mid market role or even a BDR role with the right set of tools.

Any suggestions on companies to try this with?

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
I think you're setting yourself up to be fired. If you're looking for side hustles, there are other things you can do that don't put your current role in welfare. Bartend on the weekends, drive for Uber/Lyft, etc.,

I agree 100% here. You’re asking to be let go.

Don’t risk your main gig for a second one at the same time. Use nights and weekends for that. Also set up some passive income revenue streams.

This is the right answer.

Don't risk what you already have.

I'd search for something on the weekends or outside of business hours to be super safe. You can also just invest some money and have it multiplied on the side, like buying stocks or shared properties online.

I went to the farming route; I have a small coffee plantation I work on the weekends and just monitor during the week.

Terrible idea.

And wouldn't additional side income add in to your alimony/child support anyway?

When I worked in the legal industry alimony was often referred to as "the screwing you get for the screwing you got". Not sure how alimony is calculated as my state isn't an alimony state. Child support, however, is calculated in a way that is supposed to give children the same standard of living in both households. So, if you make more money, you're going to end up paying more child support at the very least.

That being said, maybe look into consulting gigs for smaller sales orgs looking to grow. As a successful enterprise AE I'm sure there are plenty of companies willing to pay for your input.

That's a bad idea and can put you in trouble. You can look into a different side gig or start something of you own as many companies do support their employees doing side gig but not doing 2 jobs at the same time. Think yourself if you are doing justice to your employer that's helping you to be successful.

P.S. I understand the challenges you're going through but for me this might not the right step

Agreed with all the below.   Your current company no doubt has something in your employment contract about not working another job during your business hours with them.

It's not worth the risk.   Side hustles nights and weekends should be fine.

Agree with everyone else, try to find a secondary gig that wouldn't result in you possibly having to have the secondary gig become the primary because your primary fires you.

I think what I’m trying to determine is, how would my current role find out? Dedicated phone number, pretty experienced in manipulating my schedule and filling the calendar to always be busy. Appreciate the hustle for bartending and Uber etc. Nights and weekends I do have an income opportunity I spend time on.

I admire the hustle, but this just doesn't seem like it will end well. IDK. But good luck to you!
