Emails and calls commission being implemented(I’m doing inbound and outbound)

my company now offers commission on calls and emails however I’m not sure how much money for the amount of calls and emails( they are still finalizing) 
any idea how much that would be 
please share if you get pay on emails, calls and meetings, thanks

Sounds like a KPI being based on activity metrics more than just commission. They are trying to attribute activity with success. Which rarely works.

There is probably someone who is not showing what they think is the right level of activity and is either hitting it out of the park with few outbound calls or someone they want to put on PIP. Either way, they want more activity out of this person.

Just know that your mngt is going to be looking at number of calls versus quality of calls for the next while. Eventually this argument will pop up, probably when someone hit the $$ quota but doesn’t hit the activity quota and therefore gets penalized.

Agreed. You'll definitely be seeing a lot more focus on your daily activity, and it's likely not going to work.

As it's folded into overall compensation, it sounds very punitive and as has been pointed out, unlikely to have overall success.
If you otherwise like the job, just realize that activity is being measured and make sure you're hitting these targets. Then continue to do the things you're already doing that lead to actual meetings and opportunities.

Seems like they are valuing activity over results. If I were you, I would set up time to continue to be strategic on accounts that are realistic and just email/call blast the ones that aren't so you can easily get that extra money
