Examples of Different Touches Between Calls (AKA CBCs, No-Ask emails)

Obviously it's important to put a touch point on a lead between the time you've connected with them and your next meeting, especially if there is a good amount of time between them.
What are some good examples of some "No Ask" emails, or touch points?
For example, my company has a blog site and it's helpful to pull a relevant article from there and send it over telling them to have a nice day

I recently posted about this, but can't pull it up. This is the perfect opportunity to "keep warm". Send them relevant industry news your seeing, something related to a more personal conversation you've had, or an evergreen resource that isn't too sales-y.

As much crap as we give Gong for flooding our inboxes, they are masters at sending informative, relevant things to me.

That's a great idea, to get gong's emails. I'm sure there's a lot of great ideas that come from their emails

If say an opportunity is pushed out due to budget, I like sending webinars on products they were interested in

A link to a relevant blog post is a good example.

I also use webinars, upcoming events (though the ask is to register to attend, so maybe not quite a "no ask" touchpoint) as well as any interesting industry trends or new analyst reports.

Anything of value. It's really that simple. 🍷

I should have added that I do tell them within the email why I thought the blog post/webinar/event/analyst report would be of interest to them, rather than a "here's a link for you" toss over the fence.

It's a sad day for me to see you have to make that clarification. And I'm drunk in a redneck bar on a school night.

Blog is a good idea. I like sending webinar info - it’s not an ask but I let them know that their teammates can also join if they cannot make it. For most most of the silence is because of feature/functionality apart from budget - so I like sharing links to any new feature additions / improvements we have.

Send white-papers. Send research materials and send a relevant case study and say that the CS reminded you of them.

Only send them something if it is ACTUALLY relevant to them. If there isn’t anything to send that is not directly related to what they care about, then don’t send anything. If they have accepted the invite, they will remember.

- invite them to a webinar
- share a relevant ebook
- share a relevant whitepaper
- share a relevant blog post
- share a relevant case study

just show you care.

Also, remind them of the meeting 3 days in advance with a 1-liner email. A quick loom works like a charm!

I must admit I don't know what a CBC is aside from Canada's public broadcaster..
