Executive sponsorship in deals

How are you introducing exec sponsorship in your deals? 

Its easy from my end to grab and execs between sales and finance but how are you positioning the exec sponsorship on your prospect's end? 

How are you introducing the idea of their DM to chat with your CRO or equivalent? 

Interested to hear any ideas and talk tracks.

Sales Manager
We will do second voices / manager calls with sales managers. We don't really use VPs or execs but we will typically bring a manager into a call if our product is a good fit but pricing and budget is a concern. Manager will be able to talk through how good a fit the system is and come up with something that will work with their budget. We actually have amazing success with this.

I usually position it as a "this is the person that is going to work with me to get you discounts and pricing concessions, so be nice to them because they're super important in helping us"
