Good Open Rate Email Subjects/Calls to Action?

I'm aware ChatGPT can give me some good open rate email subjects.

  1. Can you share some of your best open rate email subjects?
  2. Also curious any good verbiage/call to action to book a meeting via calendar link etc.
  3. Any good personalization ideas to make the email sound more personalized?

Thank you for sharing any tips!

Hey Dan - welcome to Bravado!

If you use the search bar for "subject lines" "cold email" or "personalization" you'll find some good nuggets of info.

Me personally, I like to use "growth" or "Open to this {first name}?" seems to do pretty well for my subject lines.
CTAs: "Open to learning more?" "Worth a quick chat?" "Relevant?"

I try to keep my language more casual and less salesy. GL!

honestly, idk if the call to action is super critical.

if you did a good job in the body of the email, and they want to chat, then they will click the link. Id spend more time thinking about the body of the email.

my CTA is typically:

"if you want to chat more HERE is a link to my calendar, feel free to find a time that works for you.
Looking forward to connecting

Do you know if there's any reliable data out there on including your booking link in your email?

Part of me loves the convenience aspect, but the relationship building side of me feels like that's lazy and shortsighted (not saying it's wrong at all).

Something I've always gone back and forth on doing.

Yeah, as somebody who had Calendly in my sig for a full year with not a single person using it but instead working directly with me via email to schedule, I'm curious as well.

i do not know of the data. i do know that i HATE going back and forth with "does this date work? does that date work?"

for me i would not put it in my email sig. i would hyper link it in the email text. this has helped for sure. i try to position it as a way that im trying to help them rather than being lazy.

Well, I suspect it isn't that easy on my end because usually I'm working on scheduling other resources on my end and the customer is doing the same on theirs, so multiple calendars at play.
For 1:1, I'd agree, much simpler.

For personalization I like to mention articles they shared, earnings call info, or an interview of them or their leadership.

Welcome, Daniel!

I would recommend following a few different people on LI who post actionable info around email prospecting. Gong.io is a good (but sometimes cringy)

source of data around these subjects. Kyle Coleman from Clari is another good follow.

Personalization is a good approach but you shouldn't ever spend more than a few mins on each email. Focus more on relevance. Generally, people will respond more to something about their circumstances rather than the fact that you both played football in high school.

Make a list of common challenges your customers face, why they're difficult/common, the downstream effects of those, and how you help.

Look at how the company is hiring or any public reporting info to try to understand what their initiatives are and position yourself as a way to help with common challenges associated with those goals.

I've seen data around less words in subject lines and interest based CTA's being more effective.

Good luck!

Thank you all - very helpful feedback for my first post in this community.
Iโ€™m managing accounts already using Amazon Business in the nonprofit space. I donโ€™t have anything to sell them aside from Business Prime but that saves so much on shipping itโ€™s nearly always free and a savings.
I had most success booking meetings to introduce myself as the new Customer Advisor but now itโ€™s a bit harder.
Looking into being more televant and personalizing.

Itโ€™s great that I am their Advisor but I will also put a reason on getting on a call with them - ex hey Client most of my clients are saving an additional x amount or % after our meeting as my job is to make sure I set you up for the right directions.

For all you mail mergers out there, do you see more success emailing one DM or all DMs on a custom thread? I've noticed that putting all relevant DMs on one campaign that is 100% customized to their business has a much higher response rate (28% meeting sucess)
