Senior Account Manager

Headhunters? How do I get one?

I’m a top Senior Account Manager with 10 years experience at a SaaS company that was recently sold and currently in the process of being integrated with our new parent.

I’m not too nervous yet but there’s a lot of unknowns and I know I should be looking.

My dad is super old school former sales VP (he’s 75) and keeps telling me to hire a headhunter.

Is this a thing and how do I find one?

I'd suggest updating the settings on LinkedIn to allow recruiters to know you are looking.

Candidates don't hire/pay headhunters. Headhunters get paid by businesses to find them great candidates. Recruiters don't work for you, they work for their client.

That said, reach out to well reviewed and reputable recruiters in your area and let them know you'd like to get on their candidate roster.

Fun you hit this right on the money. You do not pay headhunters or recruiters. They are paid by the company that hires you.

Agree with funcoupons. You don't hire/pay a headhunter. I suggest reaching out to headhunters.
