How do you handle too many buyer personas?

Made a move recently from a well established Professional Services company, selling predictive analytics. With my new move to software sales, my technology platform has a TON of buyer personas. I am fully greenfield, and am having a hard time getting to all these clients with so many different potential buyers. Any advice out there in how to handle a large number of buyer personas?

Which of your personas is your ICP? It's not common that your platform is the PERFECT fit for all of your Personas, so hone in on the 1-2 that are sure fits.

For me, that's the IT leader, with a secondary being the Operations team. We have 5 other personas we can paint value for, but the aforementioned two will buy in faster than the rest.

Thanks, great point. However, our technology solution aligns to Dev, IT, Data, Security, etc. Our ICP isn't fully defined as we have seen buying decisions come from a multitude of personas...While writing this, I realized, I need to focus on defining that ICP for myself!

It is a little tough but separate them out and dig into what pain your personas are feeling, attach to that pain, and for the ones you can help the most, they'll likely be your biggest champions.

try to segment your reach outs per persona? that way you can really understand that persona because they will have the same pains and goals. when done, switch to the next persona.
