How do you keep organized in high volume cold calling?

Hey all, how do you keep organized for high volume cold calling? Lets say 50+ calls per day (though I'm sure many of you are doing much more than that)

Right now I just have an excel spreadsheet going, but it's quickly getting out of hand. I have HubSpot which is great for keeping track of existing customers, but I find it too time consuming to log every cold call.

Any suggestions out there? I did try searching first before posting and didn't find a good thread on this.

Use your CRM if you have one. It's very difficult to use a spreadsheet if you're logging each outreach with details. The nice thing with a CRM is you can set follow-up activity with reminders as they come due. Trying to eyeball a spreadsheet with next steps will likely cause you to miss potential opportunities and/or timely follow-up. Build a system that works for you and use it religiously.

So are you saying you are looking to be more organized, like a a better process of running a cadence. Today is Call 2 for xyz, and email 3 for abc

or are you just spending too much time logging the calls?

Too much time creating the company in my CRM especially if I just get a straight up no. I don't mind spending the time in HubSpot for companies I've connected with.

Right now I have a spreadsheet with a few hundred prospects, when I connect with a person at the company I'll create a company&contact in my CRM and remove them from the spreadsheet.

Apollo plays pretty well with Hubspot, makes logging calls so easy to be honest

Just say no to spreadsheets. I use HubSpot for everything. Enter all of it. Even if they hung up on you or didnโ€™t pick up. Task yourself after every interaction. Take your brain out of the process and trust the tasks.
