How to get recruiting contracts with hiring companies?

Hi Guys!

I need some advice on how to contact hiring tech companies that are looking to hire x engineers to sell a solution to them. We have built SaaS for HR that can make that hiring process easier.

All I need to do is make an offer probably to their HR right? I always dealt with SMB in my career never spoken a word to HR and never wanted them to know that I exist (other than on commission checks).

So where do I start when it comes to selling them SaaS? Has anyone any useful advice?

  • What should look out for?

Any advice on this is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

No real names! but good luck in your search. I would figure out who the decision makers are at the recruiting company by utilizing LinkedIn. Network in some way with them through there and see where things lead.

What actions have you already taken and what are the results, challenges? If you share some background there I am sure savages can share some tips.

I have looked into industry standard procedure. But I could not find anything on who to actually talk about when it comes to selling the product. Our product is Saas for recruiting but any CTO i talked to told me I would need to make an offer to HR but I couldn't find any info on how other do that.

Got it. Sorry can’t be of help because I don’t have any idea about how this works. I assume you don’t have any clients as of yet? Is the CTO able to give you any idea how the contract/offer should look like?

I would also connect with some of the peers in the same industry and invite them for a coffee chat and see if they are willing to lend some help explaining the dynamics relevant to your business.

First off - this isn’t a forum for developers.

Second - don’t use your real name David.

Third - there are tons of posts about networking. Use the search bar.

Good luck in your search.

I may have misread your post but still the Search Bar exists for a reason.

However, did some company hire you and not provide you any training? Those bullets points all seem like items your company should be answering and not leaving it up to a newbie sales guy to come up with.

If you're just starting out the easiest way to get the ball rolling is to just reach out to the people you're hoping to work with and genuinely ask for advise.

Have an honest conversation about what you're trying to do, get their feedback and don't be afraid to ask "so if we're able to do all these things you suggested, would you then consider buying it?" in order to get to the real answers and understand the real ranking of priorities.

I see a lot of companies making the same mistake, they think are customer not wanting to buy means they don't like their product or "they just don't understand". They can love your product and understand exactly what you do, but if they have ten other, bigger problems then you're at the back of the line and will probably stay there.

Mind if you post with more context of what you are looking to accomplish and current situation. What is your role? Are you looking to get a job with a staffing company, like C2C or CTH?

First role was in staffing so maybe I can help, but not sure what you are asking TBH. My guess is you are a developer, which this is for sales folks solely

Hi so I have updated my post. So No, I am not a developer I am a Sales guy in SaaS sales. What my question is how do I sell software to HR? Do you have any advice that might help?

Really depends on the product and problems it’s solves. But I would focus on CHROs to start. Look at case studies I know what problems solved and who cared.
