How to sell Cloudera?

Hi all, I'm new to Cloudera. I have to sell Cloudera cos that's the only shit left out by other AEs.

Ha Ha ha - I totally get it :) That feeling when everyone has moved to selling lightsaber and you are left making a toy from broken sticks.

So my friend, pick yourself up! Really!  and I hope these questions may help:

1.) Who are you up against? (Databricks? Some AI Data Sh*t Robot? or even some internal competing offering) What are their sales plays?  Can you play against them? or at the boundaries of it?  
2.) Data & Analytics as a category has been structured around aggressing few known needs -  "Compliance", "FOMO", "Innovation - Cutting Edge" . The themes might have changed but needs remain (eg from "Digitization" => "Sustainability") - Will any reframing here may help?
3.) I am sure you must have some image of elephant on your desk (the hadoop), put a tesla picture beside it. For mode of transportation - everyone can sell Tesla for today's world. BUT trasportation utility  is  merely not the only reason in decision making on other hand Elephants don't seem to have utility beyond zoo. Yet there are  Mahouts communities  passionate about Elephant Taming and rides through jungle. In short, world is way more complicated than our what your eyes can see, You have opportunity to meet as many mahouts you can (because of the brand name of Cloudera). Use that to speak to the fandom to know how to crack the puzzle.

I'd start by asking yourself what pain points it solves for who, then going after people who deal with those pains and telling them how it will save them time, money, and make them look good for a promotion
