I’m currently selling product analytics and session replay SaaS as an SMB AE and I’m trying to make the move to selling cloud SaaS at either google, AWS, or snowflake. Is there anyone in the bravado community that works at those co’s or has connections at those co’s that would be open2networking?

Yup, that’s the way. Or meet someone at a conference and network from there.

No waiting until after the end of our fiscal year in feb before considering anything. It’s just peaked my interest as being much more lucrative then what I’m currently doing. I’ll probably top out at $130-140k OTE where I’m at right now.. our commercial reps aren’t doing much better either.

Those jobs can take time to land - big tech vets very thoroughly and jobs are highly sought after, with lots of applicants. Best of luck!

Curious why those 3, what are you seeing making those the top choices?

Highly recommend, like everyone else, pings reps at those places on LinkedIn. Uses SalesNav to see which employees you went to the same college as, have mutual connections or worked at the same place.

Especially one's who have worked at the same place are great to learn form on talking about work experience

Comp plans are the most rich. Google cloud field sales reps for example make around $450k a year. It’s lucrative and always in demand for the foreseeable future. Training I’m sure would be top notch and I’m only 25 so that’s important to me.

FSRs at Google for SMB do not clear $450k/year.

Google's sales team in general is not doing well. They're a product company, not a strong sales organization, and there are whispers of a big fat RIF on the horizon for January.

I'd be cold calling leaders at those companies to try to impress them/open a dialogue.
