Will be prepping this weekend for an interview with the VP of Sales for a company I've been interviewing with for a little while - have spoken extensively with company recruiter (they have been gold), met with the hiring manager, two members of the team and now this one coming up early next week. The opening is a SAE role and the company offers technology within the beverage industry; connecting supply chain end-to- end, ERP, ecommerce etc.
The VP is newish, 4-5 months in the new role. Besides showcasing my accomplishments, relevant experience, my sales processes ...
- What are some crucial or important questions you've asked that you felt strongly improved your chances of being hired?
Would you treat this as a sort of disco call to a degree? I'm thinking of potentially posing some questions like this ...
- How does the company navigate and stay competitive within the unique challenges of the industry?
- How does the sales team collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive approach in meeting client needs?
- What skills or qualities do you believe are crucial for success in BevTech?
- How do you foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team?
- What are the primary goals and KPI's the sales team is measured against and how do these align with overall company goals?
Thoughts? Not wanting to leave any stones unturned. I think I'm pretty close to locking this one in and hoping this interview is just a formality. I don't know if it's just myself left or one other candidate or whatever - irrelevant.
Thanks in advance, Savages.
