Is anyone here an outbound / cold call coach

for various reasons, I've been able to get by in sales without doing a ton of cold calling and I feel like it's something I need to get over in 2024.

Does anyone offer any kind of coaching around this? I think I'd be willing to pay a modest amount depending on what we agree on for this private consultation.

Listen to these other suggestions but don't get hung up on needing to be a pro before you start.
The best teacher is experience, so start dialing. -Write a short script with a clear goal (mine is usually just getting them to agree to me sending them some info and call #2 will be to schedule a discovery) -Record your calls and review them honestly (this is huge, don't skip it) -Get comfortable with No. You'll hear no a lot and that's ok, people like to blow it out of proportion about all the 'rejection' you'll face, but they're not rejecting you, they might be busy, broke, have no need for your product or just be the type of person that says no to everything. That's fine, do like Taylor Swift and shake it off.
You can dm me to talk about some more specifics, I'm happy to help but I'm definitely not a sales coach

buy yourself 'fanatical prospecting' by Jeb Blount, this is the best manual imo for cold calling.

Smile and dial. No better teacher than cold hard rejection and objection handling live

You could always ask your question in here. Is it you’re scared to pick up the phone? Or you flop every phone call?

I will admit I’m afraid to pick the up the phone. I usually have to psych myself up a lot and then I call and no one answers anyway. I feel uncomfortable calling peoples cellphones which seems to be the only way, especially in tech. I’m actually an enterprise rep but I’ve skirted by not having to ever be an SDR. I thought maybe if I had coach walk through it I could get over this apprehension. It seems silly to worry about it other than the fact that I feel bad about disturbing people.

@bowtiedsalesguy on twitter offers paid consults and he'll walk through your scripts. He is not cheap though.

Listen here, I have to cold call about 30-40 dials each day to get my nut for opps and pipeline to close MoM, no amount of coaching will prep you for what goes down with cold calling. Each one is different, be yourself to these people and they will acclimate to you. Trying to go all jordan belfort or anything other than letting your personality rip will destroy the call. You will learn best by doing. And remember that even with the best intentions you will still be told to F off, suck a fat one and that your mother is a whore. God speed

I’m not a coach but I’ve had a ton of success cold calling the past year. It’s pretty much my main source of outbound and I’ve broke a few records at my previous company bc of it.

Not in the business of charging but if you want to talk cold calling strat, feel free to dm me :)

Best way to learn (and by no means am I pro, nor are most that are coaching) is to pick up and dial and learn by being thrown in the fire. I’ve don’t a ton of online courses and haven’t felt that they’ve been a huge value add! Just my opinion

In my opinion I think it would be worth looking into it. At the company I currently work for they provide 1:1 call coaches that have weekly meetings. I think without them I wouldn’t have been able to approach my book of business or handle my business reviews the way I currently do. They give great insight since they all have been in my role before and there’s a reason they are now call coaches.
