Is LinkedIn dead?

Seems like the limits keep on piling up - now you can only add 100 prospects a week.

How is this impacting your sales approach?

Any ninja workarounds?

100 a week? This does look like a red flag; this might scare off the average user who just uses LI to find jobs. This means that on average a BDR can target 20 prospects a day, which could be beneficial, however if each prospect is getting hit by more BDRs their response and acceptance rate may drop to the floor.
This is the time to use creativity and personalize everything to stand out as much as possible.

I have done some videos in the past with little success, considering it's more time consuming than other methods I've stopped using it for a while. Do you have any experience with video?

Idk for me it's been a hit and miss with social media. Like to be entirely honest, I hate having to put work into it and never see true results. I may have booked maybe 2 or 3 meetings through LI and none of them were SQLs.

And I get that with LI is the long game so, for me to see any results I have to consistent, just like everything else. HEAVY EYE ROLL being expressed right now, lmao.

Idk if we should be sending a connect invite to every prospect every time their lead comes through the sequence. Follows, comments, and other things could work just as good.

So my previous role used to be heavy on LinkedIn messaging. Like 800 custom messages/connection requests. After I left the job, they reduced the number to something like 300 and now it's 100.

I used to have a Russian automation software that would spoof the bot and had great results, now I don't think it's really worth it. For touch points on prospects you think have a high probability of converting, it's worth it, but cold outreach isn't very effective on LI anymore imo.

I closed a $500k deal that started with a LinkedIn connection/ conversation. Cold call will always be priority #1 for me, but don’t hate the Link. Best advice… depending on who you are targeting, connect with everyone you can at that company (starting at the lowest level). Always, and I mean ALWAYS request connection with a message. Make the message simple and familiar. No more than 3 lines and sign with your first name only (throw your signature out the window. Too formal). Once you have a solid amount of connections at your targeted company, hone in on your targeted person(s). The likely hood of them connecting with you is much higher when they see you “know” tons of people at their company. DO NOT pitch them right away. Thank them for their connection and let them know you will give them a call in a few days to “catch up”. When you call, reference connecting on LI and mention something novel from their profile, to break the ice. Using LI with cold calling is very beneficial.

I believe Quality Assurance to be beneficial, sometime reps are unaware of some of the mistakes they make in a call, pinpointing these mistakes and showing them how to overcome them is the path to success! That's how you ramp up a rep!
