Happy New Year folks
Just wanted to wish the best to everyone for 2023 and remind you that no matter how much you improve yourself, and even try to reach out and help encourage and improve others; there will ALWAYS be a miserable person/s who will try to push their negativity into your life. People who will try to reframe an issue in an attempt achieve the "Moral high ground" to pull you down into their despicable existence and make themselves feel the smallest bit "valuable".
This is the world we now live in. Endless "in-fighting". IF YOU LET IT.
Take note of these people, look at their demeanor, their words, their energy, their character.
There is no merit or intrinsic value in this type of discourse.
Choose not to engage and absorb.
Choose to "see" these people, and choose to rise above.
The OP of the LinkedIn post decided to thank this person for their insight, and move on.
No clapback, no slander. Just a simple "thank you... I hear you" and on to the next.
We live in a time where negativity is looming all around us, if we choose to absorb it. We all have our own personal and professional problems that come with life. Don't let others inject theirs into yours, it's a losing battle.
You are what you: Eat, Watch, Listen to, Consume, and Absorb.
Like it or not, we can't ALL be winners. That's not how the game is built. There will be winners, and far more losers.
Choose Positivity. Choose to be a winner.
So go win this year, despite the people around you intent on bringing you down.
That's what I'm working on this year. Seek and Absorb the positive.
Now go be a Savage.
