Job offer rescinded

Just had a job offer rescinded. Never had that happen before. I had to relocate for the job and had my house on the market. Had showings for it and everything and they called and rescinded. Has anyone had this happen before?

Wow, that sucks. As many have said before in other threads, it looks like you may have dodged a bullet, in the long run. The response "...decided to go another way", translates to a lousy company, lousy hiring practices, and overall lameness. Karma will visit them. Sorry, friend.
