Let’s talk hotspots

Hey killers.

Looks like I'll be away from dedicated internet for a short time being and need to be able to continue to work. Looking to purchase a hotspot and service apart from my wireless provider (I use Cricket and figure I'll need to go with one of the big boys).

Does anyone have an option that stands apart from the rest?

Edit to add: I'll be primarily in the Austin, Texas area.

AT&T user and it has worked pretty well for me. I'm fairly confident that the service levels between the big phone providers are very similar.

Hotspots from AT&T and Sprint/T-Mobile have been hit or miss, but will do in a pinch.   They fail if you ask too much of them.
