Lots of AE roles posted last 2 days

Hello hello is this thing on,

Any ways, in the past 2 days I am noticing a trend on LI and other places where AE roles are being posted everywhere and hiring seems to be coming back.

So I ask you, will the people remember all the companies that laid people off 6-12 months ago or will it quickly be forgotten

You tell yourself the story you want to hear. If I get an offer and love the pay, role, and team; I am going to ignore the layoffs or at least justify it.
However, its important to be critical of our top choices when interviewing because red flags are always obvious, we just choose to ignore them

And honestly, the thing to not forget is who was laid off from where. Could be overhiring in underfunded departments, or badly managed startups.

Also, I wonder if some of it is recruitment departments with excess budget leftover for posting, and they want to use it or lose it, while building a pipeline for future roles.
When I was in the space that shit happened EoY for sure.

Its end of year, end of 4th quarter for most. Companies are being prepared for layoffs, and folks making a move to quit/leave. Or in some rare cases for growth positions. Reorganization of sales and company structure for 24'. So no surprise to me.
Next year will be a wild one in many ways not just in sales, as we know (economy, election, geopolitics, wars, etc.) so expect to see many layoffs next year. Lot of movement of company structure, and expect to see your friends in the industry make moves or need help getting jobs.

At the end of the year and start of next year is when most people look at either expanding or reducing workforce depending on how they are doing

Things keep happening. All these companies have strong PR so tomorrow you might hear about how company supported the paid off folks or how they helped Xyz foundation with $xx supporting c number of people in community etc etc. Balancing effect ;)
