Need help

I just did an appraisal with my manager and come to realise that while I am able to generate leads, book meetings, I am not able to lead many of them to closure.

looking to hear from the community if they have any advice for me

The product you’re selling holds no tangible value nor does it solve real pain.

There's your problem. Not closing deals because you're selling vaporware.

You are either not selling to the right audience or you are not given them a compelling enough reason to move forward. People buy because it makes them either feel or look good, or saves them time or money. If you aren’t spelling that out for them, you won’t be able to sell anything.

so, it seems like you can set the hook, you can reel it in, but you can't get it landed on the boat. Such being the case it usually comes down to 2 things. The personas you are currently speaking with, do you have access to power and do they see the value in what you are selling?
Edit: You sell blockchain that doesn't hold value to people, time to look elsewhere.

Outbound is typically a ton harder and way low close rates. Companies I’ve been at have seen like a 1/700 close rate on outbound and typically does not work for high dollar super technical solutions with long sale cycles and huge cost.
Concentrate on trying to find a way to generate a pipeline of interested prospects. It’s better to have 3 interested people vs 500 not interested who just set up a meeting.

Where do you lose them? After disco, demo, ROI/Business case, Contracting/negotiations?
How do you lose them? Do they ghost, do they push back on value or cost? Do they go to to competitors?

as a bdr its not really your job to close the deals anyways but look into sales methodologies and see which one is the best fit for you

Sounds like a luxury product vs a problem solving product.
