With advancement of sales tools and our ability to mass outreach via automation, the art of cold-calling has become all but extinct in some orgs. I've always hung my hat on the ol' phone. The way I see it: If I am having a dry week/month/quarter, I'm picking that phone up. It is something I can control. No matter what's happening outside of my control, I can always make a decision to sit down and make phone calls until something good happens in order to shift momentum back my way...
