Personal Goals and Milestones

Question

We all know that sales is cyclical and full of routine goals and milestones.

It's the back half of 2022 and we are all facing Q3 and Q4 quotas. It's important to keep professional goals fresh which I reassess every year. But work isn't everything (and it shouldn't be!)

I'm approaching another milestone in my life and am considering what my next personal goals are. Outside of travel, bank account #s, family life, fitness, and things, what do you like to set goals about?

I have goals around tennis that i set and work towards.

You didn't leave too much room for options with all the exclusions haha! That being said one I've tried to prioritize is more social interaction, things like reaching out to local friends, even if we aren't that close to see if they want to go shoot some pool or whatever, giving my close friends that live far away a random phone call from time to time, stuff like that.

With WFH and getting older, it's very easy to realize your social circle is shrunk and you aren't really staying in touch with those still in it. For me it takes a concerted effort to try and avoid that.

I'm about to close on a house, so I'd say ironing out the few issues I know about and the ones that are bound to come up would be it for me, given you didn't leave a lot of wiggle room on your list.
