Portable monitors? any good ones

the team came through on my ask for clothes recs. now im excited to spend all my money on a new wardrobe.

I also need a portable monitor to connect to my mac when I work out of the house (co working space, tennis club, panera ect).

I was thinking of using an Ipad but didnt know if anyone else has a better option?

really need a second screen to take notes on, have slides up on things like that.

who else does this?

Never had a portable monitor...

Have you looked into the rocketbooks? I've heard great things from a few close friends.

So why portable? Vs just using an iPad as supplementary? My goal is to get an IPad to use on the go. But at home I have two monitors hooked up to my open laptop so basically 3. That is plenty (although I wouldn’t turn down another lol).

Just wait until you get a second, you’ll never go back

hahah ive tried that! but i cant find a good way to take advantage of the 2 monitors AND keep my web cam in the middle. i hate it when ppl are on camera and the are not starting at the screen haha

I use an espresso display while travelling. It’s good, works as advertised with no issues so far. Powered from your Mac, touch screen if you want it.

I don’t use portable monitors when on the go, but ipad sounds like best option

iPad would be the most portable option that won't overburden you. Also, I've always been very cautious with monitors in public spaces and what people can see you're working on. I work a lot under NDA, and I can't have people seeing what I'm working on or who I'm working with.

I would not think anything beyond what you already thought of - an iPad easy, light, runs without a power for a few hours ;)

Got one sounds like a good option, as long as it's price is reasonable:)

I have the Mobile Pixels Trio Portable Monitor for Laptops - and I love it. I actually use it with my laptop at home in addition to traveling because it saves space on my desk. When I do a demo, I have the product on that monitor to my right, and the GMeet on my laptop monitor in front of me. So I can look at the Gmeet screen & see both the shared product and watch prospects for visual cues.
