What are some of the questions you ask throughout the sales process to make sure you get the deal and not have it waiting the perpetual asking for "any update" loop. Ill start.


"Oh so this is already budgeted?"

"What stands in the way of us partnering together?"

"Seems like we just need to cover XYZ and we should be good to go to get this thing rolling?"

"What does (DM Name) think about this project so far?"

Knowing their budget and timeline. You also need to let them know of your timeline. Let them know what the next steps are and agree on dates.ย

Consistently set up next steps on every conversation. Another thing that I've found extremely useful is bringing up the competitors they're looking at as part of the evaluation process.ย 

More often than not, we're better prepared to steer these deals if we understand this bit of the puzzle.
