Prospects with links to their calendar

I have a few key prospects (C-levels) at accounts I'm working with links to their calendar in their GitHub profile.

I've had limited contact with them (i.e. connect over the phone once or messages back and forth via linkedin) but not really a warm relationship quite yet. 100% against the cold cal invite approach but them displaying access to their calendars to book time with them is a big tease imo.

Curious if anyone's run into this/how they approached it and if it was successful. Definitely not trying to burn a bridge by blindly showing up in their calendar because it's essentially the same thing as a cold invite.

Honestly, I never had this opportunity - but I would ABUSE THE FUCK OUT OF IT. They willingly put that in there. Don't be scared, worst that can happen is they cancel it and then you follow up regarding when would be a better time? Don't assume it was b/c they don't know you, maybe something came up.

Don't start asking for permission now, ask for forgiveness on the ones that don't just talk to you at that scheduled time, and even then don't be sorry you used a tool they gave you. Hell, you might teach them a valuable lesson about what they should be putting out there to the world without locks or parameters.

You guys aren't my clients or my boss so I've got no reason to sugar coat it lol. But yeah I like to be unapologetic in my prospecting...it's my/our job to have that conversation one way or the other and it's ok to let people know that. I MIGHT be able to save you money, I MIGHT make your life easier, I MIGHT be able to help grow your business, but I ABSOLUTELY have to have a conversation as the requirement of my day in and day out duties (my old BDR/SDR mentality - a bit different as an AM now a days, but similar with talking new products to customers).

I've put meetings on people's calendars when they stop communicating - and it has worked 90% of the time to get a reaction, if not the meeting. It's another tool I have employed when I'm not getting any traction in another way. Even a "the project is cancelled" is better than chasing a ghost.

so i would NOT just book time on someones calendar.

i am willing to bet they did not create it for sales ppl to just book time on.

but i would mention it, in your outreach that you noticed the link and would love to connect at a specific time you see is free

This was the advice I was looking for. Not trying to be invasive but address it directly with them.
