Getting a new job and be in my first closing position. I made more in the first 6 months this year than I did the entire last year.

Hitting $100k. I've only been in sales for 1.5 years, and I'm 23 so making 100k at my age is insane to me

Oh dear, I'm going to sound like a nag...but learn to budget and start saving. It's very much ok to have fun, don't get me wrong, but learning to not spend more than you earn in base will serve you very well.
Also if you're not pouring money into a 401(k) - hopefully matched - you're possibly going to regret it in 40 years. Which isn't as far off as you probably think it is. Also has great tax benefits. :)

Oh no worries, I’m totally aware of that. I’ve actually saved a lot and didn’t spend that much. What I meant by lifestyle is being able to save/invest a lot and also have fun.

Now on track to leaving CA, save some more significant cash and then invest wisely so I can Julia Robert's my ass across the world to live, laugh, love(or whatever order it's in, idk)
It's required an insane amount of work on my end, but ya know what they say, gotta make sure the juice is worth the squeeze.
Edit - I also started therapy, which was very hard to even open up about, but it's going rather well.

for me, being able to buy a car in cash for the first time ever was a pretty big deal!

Funny enough, we had to do the same thing... Closed on the house and an hour and half later were at a dealership because my old jeep died 2 days before closing.

It was just stressful! It was a used car (Volvo wagon that I hated, but that's a story for another time) so we had to get to the credit union to get the cash to the seller and get the transfer done, and of course that was on a schedule.
The worst part was that one of our cats decided to hide, so after significant time spent going through all the connected yards calling for him with no luck, we moved without him (at first, I'm not a horrible person!), mostly due to the timing issue with getting the car. The next day, I returned to the apartment to do a final deep clean, and there dude was, vocalizing his distress about our disappearance and how dare I.
An exciting but very tightly run day.

Man, I remember in 2017, started a business, got married, got pregnant, and then move from Michigan to Florida 4 months after we got married. I feel you!
Walked away from a flowing pipeline at a company I'd been at for about 18 months, to head up biz dev and creative services for a young tech company. Made more in commish on my first deal than I did all last year.
Broke the $1 million dollar mark which is tough in my industry and am chasing $2 million, and 30 years with wifey! I told you all I was a BOOMER!

1. Became the top performer in my current team within 4 months of joining with a product category I had zero experience in, beating out several people that had been there for 2+ years

I trained a University Co-Op Student to research and prospect. He used every free trial he could for Zoom Info etc and knocked it out of the park. Proud of him. He was then promoted. (And I'm gone but happy for him!)

Built an automated funnel for myself. Went from working 40hrs/ wk to 2-3 hrs/ day, while also closing more deals than anybody else on my sales team lol
Leaving a toxic company that tried to block me with a noncompete, for a better org with competent staff where I feel valued.
Jumped three job/pay titles in 2022. Not because I applied for them but because I was recommended by my peers which is an incredible feeling to know that I have that type of worth in my craft.

My proudest accomplishment is walking away from a job I hated for 3.5 years in Aerospace Supply Chain. It was a cushy job... salary wasn't crazy but it offered a lot of security. I left because I didn't feel satisfied and needed a new environment to push myself and grow as a person. I'm happy I found this resource. I'm almost done with Tech Sales U and will leverage what I learned to break into a sales role
