My story:
2nd yr BDR here with OTE 60k
Did 260% of FY22 target (capped at 300%)
Now, FY23 targets increased significantly. From 5mil to 25
Will need to do 75mil in pipe, to hit cap (300%)
Individual targets shared publicly already.
Initial impression: this increase is standard across the team.
Informed "not to worry" by Manny - who doesnt micro manage and genuinely strives for team to win
What say yee o' top performers: How does one win here?
(Willing to accept that winning might not be max comp)
Thoughts:
a) try hunt top accounts only (increasing min deal value from 100k to 1mil)
b) try renegotiate comp
c) push back as a team
d) just do it
e) aim for wage hike by becoming Senior - taking management route
f) all of the above
g) something else
