I think there is a place for AI/ML in the sales process, but its limited and its novelty is wearing away very quickly. IMO, the trick will be to subtlety enhance current offerings with ML/AI and not overwhelm both the client and sales person.
But the current market is going to use a hammer approach and basically turn off everyone from AI/ML.
