This popped up on my LI feed and as I am always open to advice and feedback, I clicked and started reading.
Much of the advice is bland and generic, but still valid for anyone, at any point in their career, at anytime (i.e. "working with the end in mind", "do your homework", "set short term/tangible goals", etc.). So there's that.
My problem is with the mix of "sales experts". I can't call anyone who's in Sales Development/Enablement an expert - or else they'd not be in development, they'd be selling! Those who can't do, teach is still valid. And their comments are very indicative of their potential ability to sell. I guess they want to cool by association.
I did like that there were multiple "experts" predicting the mass mailings, etc. of marketing propaganda will turn into more targeted communications. Encouraging sales people, especially beginners, to get to know their targeted clientele is a great mid-to-long term strategy for success.
However, I'm afraid much of this personalization will be done with AI-based tools which will skim details from the internets and eventually cross the line (like into Google Page 6 stuff). But that's just the conspiracy theorist in me.
