Said it heaps of times here before, but personally for larger prospects i have found sending some kind of sample pack/gift/hand written letter that is then followed up by a cold call works well.

One of the best things about it is your call is actually relevant because 1. you are checking if they received it, and 2. you are letting them know why they got it.

And out of all of that, i have found that once you have sent something, most people seem to feel they at least owe you a conversation after your effort.

It's been a long time since I started to see a decrease in e-mail efficiency here in Brazil. We are a vast country and most of the salespeople over here do that massive email sequences with no personalization at all. This results in decision-makers with thousands of emails in their inbox. The other thing is that here in Brazil we have a culture that cold calling is bad and we are going to be always annoying our lead (that doesn't make any sense at all if you really studied your prospects).

LinkedIn is slept on. I say cold call has best success but if you know how to reach prospects on LinkedIn you’ll be killing it.
