SDRs: how do you respond to "I'll check it out"

You send a prospect some info and they reply, "Thanks, I'll check it out!"

What do you reply? When? How does it work for you?

Don't reply.

Call them the next day and get them on the phone.

Sounds like you were interested in checking out the resources I sent over.  What's going on over at XYZ company that has you interested in XYZ content?

This works when I've got a phone number - this happens to me *most* often via LinkedIn, where I contact people whose phone numbers I can't find

I have it! We're actually looking at other platforms because I'm *not* finding good numbers with it

Getting like 95% office phone numbers/sales lines that are currently unmanned because everyone's WFH

“Great. I’ll call tomorrow to see if you have any questions on it.

Is XYZ the best number to reach you?”

Asking for information, an email and asking for a follow up are all brush offs. They aren’t real statements. They are ghosts. Don’t fight ghosts.

Acknowledge their request and label it. Then use a negative reverse to get the truth.

“I can appreciate you wanting to check out some marketing materials.”

”It seems like you’re thinking that if you talk to me directly about eSignature that you’ll be forced into a meeting you don’t have time for.”

”What makes now a bad time to talk about your bottom funnel sales process?”

That's totally up to you. Do what's best for you and your family. Good luck.
